The Ghana Fund Business Expo (Services-Only Focus) is a high-level professional services exhibition designed to position Ghana as a leading regional hub for financial, advisory, and enterprise-support services. The Expo forms part of Ghana Fund–led national economic initiatives and provides a strategic platform for service providers that enable investment, manage risk, drive enterprise growth, and support public and private sector development.
Unlike product-based exhibitions, this Expo is exclusively dedicated to services, creating a focused environment for deal-making, partnerships, and policy engagement. It brings together domestic and international firms whose expertise underpins economic transformation, industrial growth, and sustainable development.
The core service areas featured at the Expo include financial services, such as banking, investment management, fintech, pensions, venture capital, private equity, and infrastructure finance. These institutions play a central role in mobilising capital, structuring investments, and supporting national development projects. Closely aligned are insurance and risk management services, including insurance, reinsurance, underwriting, guarantees, actuarial services, and trade risk coverage, which provide essential protection and confidence for investors and enterprises.
The Expo also highlights consulting and advisory services, covering management consulting, economic and public policy advisory, strategy development, ESG and sustainability consulting, and organisational transformation. These services support both government and private sector institutions in planning, reform, and execution. Legal and compliance services form another key pillar, with firms offering corporate law, investment law, arbitration, governance, and regulatory advisory critical to safeguarding transactions and ensuring transparency.
In addition, the Expo features marketing, media, and communications services, including branding, public relations, digital marketing, investor relations, and market-entry support. These firms help organisations position themselves competitively, attract capital, and expand into new markets. Professional and business support services such as accounting, auditing, taxation, human resources, recruitment, training, IT, and digital transformation further complete the service ecosystem on display.
Participants in the Ghana Fund Business Expo typically access several high-value opportunities. These include investment opportunities, where service firms engage with investors, fund managers, and financiers seeking partners for service-led and scalable business models. The Expo also facilitates strategic partnerships, enabling local and international firms to form alliances, joint ventures, and long-term service arrangements linked to national and private-sector projects.
A major advantage of the Expo is direct engagement with government and institutional stakeholders. Exhibitors and participants interact with public agencies, regulators, and policymakers, opening pathways to become approved advisors, consultants, insurers, financiers, or implementation partners on sovereign and development programmes. The Expo also supports market expansion and client acquisition, offering access to new corporate, SME, multinational, and public-sector clients while strengthening brand visibility at both national and continental levels.
Finally, the Expo provides a platform for thought leadership and influence through speaking engagements, panel discussions, and expert showcases. By focusing solely on services, the Ghana Fund Business Expo functions as a concentrated, knowledge-driven marketplace that promotes investment mobilisation, professional collaboration, and long-term economic transformation in Ghana.
Automatic Enrolment for GTTC and AOCE
All exhibitors domiciled in Ghana, and by extension, domiciled in an African country will automatically enrol to trade at the Ghana Transit Trade Centre for a 1-year period without having to rent trading space. This will also extend to conducting direct exports through the Africa Overseas Commercial Exchange.
Ghanaian start-up export houses and existing entities that register to participate in the exhibitions, but do not have goods, will receive inventory support from the Ghana Fund under specific terms and conditions.
Participation in the GTTC and the AOCE will commence immediately following the end of the GEGD Week.
