The Ghana Fund cordially invites distinguished leaders from government, industry, finance, diplomacy, the private sector, and the Ghanaian diaspora to an exclusive Fund-Raising Gala Dinner marking the official launch of the Ghana Economic Growth and Development (GEGD) Week 2026.


This high-level evening event will unveil Ghana Fund’s bold vision to mobilise long-term capital for transformational national projects, strengthen sovereign wealth, and accelerate inclusive economic growth without increasing the tax burden on citizens. The Gala Dinner will serve as a platform to forge strategic partnerships, present priority investment programmes, and invite stakeholders to participate directly in shaping Ghana’s development future.


The evening will feature keynote addresses, a curated presentation of flagship projects, cultural performances, and structured opportunities for pledges, sponsorships, and investment commitments in support of Ghana’s industrialisation, infrastructure expansion, food security, healthcare, and job creation agenda.

The first GEGD Week dates are 18 – 31 January 2026, to be held across multiple venues in Accra and surrounding locations. For various reasons beyond the control f the organisers, all activities except the Grand Launch of Ghana Economic Growth and Development (GEGD) and Fund-Raising Gala Dinner have been postponed to a later date to be announced shrtly.


The Gala on 18 January marks both the grand launch of the week and a fund-raising dinner aimed at:


  • Mobilising financing for the build-up of seed capital for Ghana Fund initiatives.
  • Engaging public and private sector leaders, investors, diaspora representatives, and stakeholders around Ghana’s industrialisation, economic growth, and social development goals.
  • Showcasing the Fund’s vision to finance key national projects without increasing tax burdens on citizens.

  • Raise capital to support Ghana Fund’s forth-coming investment and sovereign wealth development programmes.
  • Build partnerships between government, private sector, diaspora investors, and civil society.
